Alternatives for Youth
Alternatives for Youth (AY) offers confidential counselling for youth 13-25 years and families experiencing difficulties related to the misuse of tobacco, alcohol and other drugs. The AY program focuses on: the prevention of substance abuse, the reduction or elimination of problem substance abuse, and the provision of strategies to reduce the number and severity of relapses. Support for family and friends is also available so that they can understand and encourage the client's efforts at learning to make positive lifestyle changes, and choices. AY is held at the old Flamborough Town Hall, 163 Dundas St. E. Waterdown.
