FICS has started our computer training classes for Seniors.
We currently offer 4 courses. The list below goes
from easiest to hardest:
- Introduction to Computers - this class is for people who
have never used a computer before, and will show basic things such as how to
use the mouse and keyboard.
- The Internet - this class shows you how to go online and
search the internet, visit different websites, and how to find information
online.
- Email - this class shows you how to send and receive
email, how to write email, and send and receive attachments.
- Word - this is our advanced class, and in it you will be
introduced to Word Processing, and will be shown how to type things like
letters using a word processor such as Microsoft Word.
Each of the above classes is 1 hour in length and costs $5.
