Income Tax Clinic

Each year at income tax time, a few evening clinics are held in which an accountant fills out your form. This free service is limited to people with a household income under $15,000, or if you have dependents, a household income under $22,500.

The Income Tax Clinic volunteers are individuals who give freely of their time to assist you in the completion of your income tax return. They have attended a training session at Revenue Canada, and were shown how to prepare simple straightforward returns.

Service can be made available throughout the year if needed.

If you are attending the clinic, please remember to bring with you the following items;

Last year's completed income tax return
This year's blank income tax return
Social Insurance Number for you (and your spouse, if applicable)

As well, you should bring all receipts of income

salary, wages
interest income
pension, annuity income
registered retirement income
Canada Savings Bond interest
old age security
social assistance payments
Worker's Compensation benefits
unemployment insurance benefits

and all receipts for expenses

child care expenses
medical expenses
charitable donations
property taxes or rent
political donations
union dues
tuition fees

Also, if you are married, or common-law, you must provide your spouse's income.
