Woman To Woman Group
Women: Do you sometimes feel like people walk all over you? Do you find it difficult to trust others and yourself? Do you want to learn how to communicate better in relationships? You are not alone. Many women struggle with setting boundaries in relationships or with communicating their needs and wishes to the people they love. Lack of trust and respect are also issues that many of us face in our relationships.
Family and partner relationships can be some of the most fulfilling and important aspects of our lives, yet they are a lot of hard work and can also present us with some of the most difficult challenges on a personal level. When problems in relationships arise they can have a tremendous impact on our emotional and mental well-being, especially for women. As women we have been socialized to look after relationships, make them work, take responsibility for them, and ensure that everyone is happy. Sometimes our own needs get pushed to the back burner in our effort to make everything ok.
.If you are looking for a chance to talk with other women about some of these relationship issues and how to take better care of yourself in the process, come check out the Woman to Woman group. You will learn about: communication strategies, setting boundaries for yourself, what makes a healthy relationship, and more. If you are intersesting in joining our group please call Shelley at Flamborough Information & Community Services at 905-689-7880, or toll free at 1-800-297-3427.
Next group starting January 24, 2008 - February 28, 2008 5:30 - 7:30
