What do we want for Flamborough
- Break and enter to decrease
- Theft from vehicles to decrease
- All ages, especially seniors and youth, to feel safer
in our community
- People to start working together to create a more
safe and secure community
- Decrease the economic hardship and emotional stress
that results from crime
1st year activities
- Establish a community advisory group
- will lead and oversee the project activities
- hire a project coordinator to carry out planned
activities
- review gathered information in order to make
responsible decisions to move the project forward
- Identify cause and amount criminal activity
- look at the root of the criminal activity
- establish social strategies for the prevention of
crime
- identify best practices for assisting youth who
are at risk
- Develop Promotional Material
- develop a logo
- develop a slogan
- the logo will be used on black baseball caps (we are
focusing our activities towards youth at risk so we want to have a
youthful presence in the community with the youth wearing our caps)
- develop the web site which will be interactive to enable people
to communicate, be informed and updated with our activities
- Build effective Partnerships among

- Hamilton Police Services
